Komparatistische Bibliothek / Comparative Studies Series / Bibliothèque d'Études Comparatives
Since its founding in 1992, Comparative Studies Series publishes interdisciplinary monographs and collected volumes on Education. Topics include among others the interrelations of identity, education, society, and politics, methodological approaches in Education and pedagogical reflections on post-colonial state formations. The volumes of the series are published in English, German and French. The editors are Barbara Schulte, Professor of Comparative and International Education, and Jürgen Schriewer, Emeritus Professor of Comparative Education. The quality of the works published in this series is assessed by external peer reviews prior to publication, usually using a double-blind procedure. In der Komparatistischen Bibliothek erscheinen seit 1992 interdisziplinäre Monographien und Sammelbände zur Bildungswissenschaft. Themen sind unter anderem das Verhältnis von Identität, Bildung, Gesellschaft und Politik, methodologische Ansätze in der Bildungswissenschaft und pädagogische Überlegungen zur postkolonialen Staatenbildung. Die Bände der Reihe erscheinen in Englisch, Deutsch und Französisch. Die Herausgeber:innen sind Barbara Schulte, Professorin für International-Vergleichende Bildungsforschung und Jürgen Schriewer, emeritierter Professor für Vergleichende Erziehungswissenschaft. Die Qualität der in dieser Reihe erscheinenden Arbeiten wird vor der Publikation durch externe Peer Reviews geprüft, im Regelfall im Double Blind Verfahren.

New Comparative Criticism

New Comparative Criticism is dedicated to innovative research in literary and cultural studies. It invites contributions with a comparative, cross-cultural, and interdisciplinary focus, including comparative studies of themes, genres, and periods, and research in the following fields: world literature, environmental humanities, literary and cultural theory, material and visual cultures, speculative fiction, reception studies, cultural history, comparative gender studies and performance studies, diasporas and migration studies, and transmediality. The series is especially interested in research that articulates and examines new developments in comparative literature, in the English-speaking world and beyond. It seeks to advance methodological reflection on comparative literature and aims to encourage critical dialogue between scholars of comparative literature at an international level. Comparative Cultures and Literatures
The books in the Comparative Cultures and Literatures series compare and contrast two or more national, ethnic, religious, historical, or social cultures and/or literatures. The scope is open to encourage innovative studies of societies or literatures that have traditionally been compared or that have traditionally not been compared. Analyses may address contrasts and comparisons not only across national boundaries but also across time. The books in the Comparative Cultures and Literatures series compare and contrast two or more national, ethnic, religious, historical, or social cultures and/or literatures. Comparative Regional Integration Studies

The Comparative Regional Integration Studies series aims at providing a forum for discussing topics in Political Science with a focus on Regional Studies. The authors examine regional integration in the broadest sense of the term. This interdisciplinary series also takes issues of Sociology and Economics into account. Scholars examine for example the challenge of the global economic crisis for social integration. The series will not be continued.
