La Fabrique du politique

L’analyse des politiques publiques, des institutions et acteurs qui les conçoivent, a beaucoup gagné à s’ouvrir largement aux autres sciences sociales et particulièrement à la sociologie. Qu’il s’agisse des organisations internationales, des institutions européennes, des administrations nationales ou encore des collectivités territoriales, les enquêtes quantitatives et qualitatives sur leur personnel et leurs interlocuteurs privilégiés, l’observation ethnographique, le travail sur archives, permettent de renouveler le regard sur l’action publique. Attentives à la diversité des acteurs engagés dans la formulation des politiques publiques, ces recherches peuvent en outre s’appuyer avec profit sur les enseignements et concepts de la sociologie du droit, des organisations, des professions, ou des institutions pour éclairer la façon dont élus, fonctionnaires, experts, représentants d’intérêts, ou encore usagers y contribuent. Toute forme de culture ayant une dimension politique et juridique, la Collection publie des travaux, tels que des thèses, synthèses de recherches, ouvrages collectifs et actes de colloques se proposant de faire connaître les systèmes politiques et juridiques contemporains et leur implications sociales et sociétales. La Collection se focalise sur les interférences entre le politique, le juridique et le socio-culturel dans le contexte de la globalisation et de la mondialisation, en prêtant une attention particulière aux processus d’intégration politique et d’harmonisation juridique en cours dans l’Union européenne. The series publishes works on culture with a political and legal dimension that are intended to reveal the contemporary political and legal systems and their social and societal implications. The series focuses on the interconnections between the political, the legal and the sociocultural in the context of globalization, paying particular attention to the processes of political integration and legal harmonization underway in the European Union. Proposals for revised doctoral theses, edited collections and conference proceedings are all welcome.

Dynamiques citoyennes en Europe / Citizenship Dynamics in Europe

Crystallization of human groups in order to constitute a place of citizenship is a complex phenomenon associating elements of identification and distinction: language, geographical origins, social classes, religion, political commitment. Through a multidisciplinary perspective, this collection brings together the works about the common research problem of «civic dynamics», itself concentrated on two main converging aspects: «secularism and religion»; «citizenships and identities». La cristallisation de groupes humains pour faire « cité » est un phénomène complexe qui associe des éléments d’’identification et de distinction : langue, origine géographique, genre, catégorie sociale, religion, engagement politique. Dans une perspective pluridisciplinaire, la collection « Dynamiques citoyennes en Europe » fédère les travaux autour de la problématique commune des « dynamiques citoyennes », elle-même articulée plus particulièrement sur deux axes convergents : « laïcité et religions » ; « citoyennetés et identités ». Elle accueille toutes sortes de publications scientifiques en français, anglais et allemand. Die Società – Forum für Ethik, Kunst und Recht bietet in ihrer Schriftenreihe dem Austausch all jener Wissenschaften ein Forum, die sich der Erforschung der Grundlagen einer freien Gemeinschaft verschrieben haben. Besonderes Augenmerk wird hierbei auf die Geisteswissenschaften, die Rechtswissenschaften und die Informationswissenschaften gelegt. Die Ergebnisse der interdisziplinären Konferenzen der Società sowie ausgewählte Monografien helfen Antworten auf die Frage zu finden, wie der Gesellschaftsvertrag einer Gemeinschaft freier gestaltender Individuen aussehen könnte – vor allem angesichts technologischer Innovation und divergierender ethischer Konzepte.

Par delà les diverses disciplines des sciences sociales, les engagements idéologiques et les préjugés des « écoles nationales », la philosophie se doit de poursuivre une recherche aussi universelle que possible du sens et de la sagesse de la vie humaine dans un monde entraîné chaotiquement vers son unité.

Institutionelle und Sozial-Ökonomie / Institutional and Socio-Economics

"In the "Institutional and Socio-Economics" book series, the economy is studied as a genuinely social system of heterogeneous agents in an institutional context. The series includes a broad range of different methodological approaches, theoretical perspectives and subjects of study. Interdependencies among agents in complex social systems can be studied using evolutionary economic models, as well as institutional economic and simulation studies. Hence, the focus is being laid on approaches that are more explorative than the standard equilibrium analysis; on approaches that allow for complexity; on approaches that consider development, history, institutions, and values. Thus, we may conclude that institutions are more than just devices for the reduction of transaction costs. From an institutionalist perspective, institutions are the common and collective solutions to social decision problems, particularly social dilemma problems, coordination problems, and collective-good problems. Such solutions require ‘recognized interdependence’ and learned coordination and cooperation, thus a learned culture of a long-run perspective – emerging as the result of a process of interactions. Institutions often are transitory only, part of the ongoing dynamics, adequately modeled possibly as an evolutionary process. Also, they may be instrumental solutions to a social decision problem at first and may degenerate into ceremonial power-and-status-based phenomena later, thus limiting the possibility of further innovation and development. In a genealogy of economics, the thematic and methodological spectrum of this book series would embrace the history of thought beginning with the classics including great names such as Adam Smith and Karl Marx but also the late classics who already have struggled with issues like complexity, process, historical time, and evolution. In newer times, the spectrum continues with Veblenian, Keynesian, and Post-Keynesian thinking; it would also include works in the traditions of original institutionalist economics, ecological economics, Neo-Schumpeterian thinking, evolutionary economics, and game theory. Social economics and social policy analysis, behavioral economics, complex modeling, system dynamics, and agent-based computational economics would be embraced as well. Such lists, however, can never be exhaustive. Last not least, institutional and socio-economics deals with the epistemology and substance of values, norms and ethics, value warrants of economic behavior as well as the normative foundations of economics. This series, thus, stands in the best traditions of plural economic research areas and pluralistic theoretical perspectives. It may be called ’heterodox’, but it shall always be cutting-edge and of high quality. Enjoy exploring the works of this book series. The Book Serie «Champs didactiques plurilingues» aims to promote practice and research about foreign language teaching and learning from a triple bond between subjects, objects and contexts, each with their individual and interacting dynamics. This involves the disciplinary fields involved in the production of practical and theoretical ideas, and of the concrete, educational and professional contexts of teaching and learning , together with school and university language policies which influence the learning of a particular language, the choice of languages and their status.
