Die Buchreihe Zivilrechtliche Schriften wird herausgegeben von Prof. Dr. Arnd Arnold und Prof. Dr. Hartmut Oetker, deren Forschungsschwerpunkte unter anderem in den Bereichen Bürgerliches Recht, Arbeitsrecht sowie Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht liegen; von Prof. Dr. Timo Fest, dessen Forschungsschwerpunkte im Bürgerlichen Recht, Handels- Gesellschafts- und Wirtschaftsrecht liegen, und von Prof. Dr. Jan Lieder, der im gesamten Bereich des deutschen, europäischen und internationalen Handels-, Gesellschafts- und Wirtschaftsrechts forscht, lehrt und veröffentlicht. The Postcolonial Studies series explores the enormous variety and richness in postcolonial culture and transnational literatures. The series aims to publish work which explores various facets of the legacy of colonialism including: imperialism, nationalism, representation and resistance, neocolonialism, diaspora, displacement and migratory identities, cultural hybridity, transculturation, exile, and geographical and metaphorical borderlands. Studien zur Ethik in Ostmitteleuropa

Die Reihe Studien zur Ethik in Ostmitteleuropa unternimmt es, die Diskussion über ethische Überzeugungen insbesondere in und mit den vor 1989 vom westlichen Europa getrennten Ländern zu fördern und die vorfindlichen Argumentationszusammenhänge zu an alysieren. Dabei werden vor allem die folgenden Felder der Ethik berücksichtigt: Medizinethik, Wirtschaftsethik, Rechtsethik, Politische Ethik und Geschichte der Ethik. Verbunden sind die Erörterungen regelmäßig mit einem Vergleich zwischen den unter schiedlichen Entwicklungen auf dem Weg zu einem politisch und rechtlich vereinten Europa, auf dem die ethischen Befindlichkeiten und Überzeugungen der Völker nicht außer Acht gelassen werden sollten.

Academic and scholarly responses have built on the traditional and non-traditional analytical frameworks and promoted a multidimensional discourse on, for example, conflict management, peace and security systems, HIV/AIDS, democratic governance, and the implications of globalization. This series is designed to encourage innovative thinking on a broad range of development issues. Thus its remit extends to all fields of intellectual inquiry with the aim of highlighting the advantages of a synergistic interdisciplinary perspective on the challenges of and opportunities for development in the continent. Of particular interest are studies with a heavy empirical content which also have a bearing on policy debates and those that question theoretical orthodoxies while being grounded on concrete developmental concerns. The Asian American Studies series will continue to contribute to an understanding of the long neglected history, rich cultural heritage, and present position of Asian Americans in society. The series encompasses studies on all aspects of the Asian American experience, and we are committed to expanding the traditions of knowledge within the field to address vast Asian American epistemologies, communities, activities, and practices. We are looking for work which explores various facets of a transnational perspective including for example: diaspora, displacement and migratory identities, cultural hybridity, transculturation, comparative race studies, contemporary community issues, immigration politics, nationalisms, and representation. Micro y Pequeña Empresa Latinoamericana

The works in this collection are open access and aim to promote and disseminate quality scientific production in the economic-administrative area and related areas, developing research on micro and small enterprises focusing on a particular aspect each year. The relevance of the study contributes to the generation of knowledge for the development of a management model with characteristics specific to the micro and small enterprises in Latin America. Global Studies in Education

"Global Studies in Education is a book series that address the implications of the powerful dynamics associated with globalization for re-conceptualizing educational theory, policy and practice. The general orientation of the series is inter-disciplinary. It welcomes conceptual, empirical and critical studies that explore the dynamics of the rapidly changing global processes, connectivities and imagination, and how these are reshaping issues of knowledge creation and management and economic and political institutions, leading to new social identities and cultural formations associated with education. Scholars have sought to use the term “globalization” to summarize dynamic processes now being expressed in the intensification and movement of cultural and economic capital across national borders, the acceleration of mass migration, and the amplification and proliferation of images generated in the Internet and in electronic mediation generally. These processes are now fully articulated to the organization of knowledge in educational institutions and the social and cultural environments in which both school youth and educators now operate. However, there is no settlement or general agreement, nor is there a developed literature, about how globalization processes function in the institutional terrain of education and how they impact the integration of social subjects into contemporary institutions such as the school. This new series therefore aims to provide a venue for rigorous interdisciplinary research that seeks to describe, document, theorize, and intervene in the brave new educational world defined by globalization processes. We are particularly interested in manuscripts that offer: a) new theoretical, and methodological, approaches to the study of globalization and its impact on education; b) ethnographic case studies or textual/discourse based analyses that examine the cultural identity experiences of youth and educators inside and outside of educational institutions; c) studies of education policy processes that address the impact and operation of global agencies and networks; d) analyses of the nature and scope of transnational flows of capital, people and ideas and how these are affecting educational processes; e) studies of shifts in knowledge and media formations, and how these point to new conceptions of educational processes; f) exploration of global economic, social and educational inequalities and social movements promoting ethical renewal. Deutsche Literatur von den Anfängen bis 1700

In der Reihe "Deutsche Literatur von den Anfängen bis 1700" erscheinen Ergebnisse germanistischer Forschung und Reflexion über einen Zeitraum, der ca. 1000 Jahre deutscher Literaturgeschichte umfasst, in denen das rhetorische und mentale Inventar an Sprach-, Bild-, und Denkmustern im Kontext einer intensiv gegenwärtigen christlichen Welt- und Erinnerungsschau sich gehalten und verfasst fand. Das Spektrum der Veröffentlichungen ist konzeptuell nicht beschränkt auf Interpretation und Analyse einzelner Literaturdenkmäler, sondern ist offen für Zeitdiagnose und Epochenprobleme, vor allem aber auch für die editorische Neuerschliessung von Texten, für methodische Neuansätze und interdisziplinäre Vorgehensweisen dieser Interpretation, auf deren Inanspruchnahme sowohl die mediävistische Altgermanistik als auch die mittlere Germanistik und die sich allmählich intensivierende Beschäftigung mit der beginnenden Neuzeit (16./17. Jahrhundert) angewiesen bleiben, sofern diese Zeiträume sachgerecht und historisch relevant behandelt werden sollen. Auf Grund der Diversität der Aufgabenstellungen, Forschungsrichtungen und methodischen Ansätze, die hier zur Sprache kommen mögen, sind die einzelnen Bände so konzipiert, dass sie ein Werk, eine Epoche oder eine systematische Fragestellung selbstständig erörternd angehen.
