Die Herausgeber Professor Helge Stadelmann und Dr. Berthold Schwarz sind praktische und systematische Theologen am Institut für Israelogie.

Dynamiques citoyennes en Europe / Citizenship Dynamics in Europe

Crystallization of human groups in order to constitute a place of citizenship is a complex phenomenon associating elements of identification and distinction: language, geographical origins, social classes, religion, political commitment. Through a multidisciplinary perspective, this collection brings together the works about the common research problem of «civic dynamics», itself concentrated on two main converging aspects: «secularism and religion»; «citizenships and identities». La cristallisation de groupes humains pour faire « cité » est un phénomène complexe qui associe des éléments d’’identification et de distinction : langue, origine géographique, genre, catégorie sociale, religion, engagement politique. Dans une perspective pluridisciplinaire, la collection « Dynamiques citoyennes en Europe » fédère les travaux autour de la problématique commune des « dynamiques citoyennes », elle-même articulée plus particulièrement sur deux axes convergents : « laïcité et religions » ; « citoyennetés et identités ». Elle accueille toutes sortes de publications scientifiques en français, anglais et allemand. Linguistik International

Die Reihe Linguistik International bietet Kongressakten und wissenschaftliche Monographien aus der Germanistik, Anglistik, Slawistik und allgemeinen Sprachwissenschaft in deutscher und englischer Sprache. Schwerpunkte bilden die Akten des Linguistischen Kolloquiums seit 1999, das seit 1968 jährlich an wechselnden europäischen Universitäten stattfindet und vor allem jungen Linguisten ein offenes Forum bietet, und die Akten der Konferenz «Formal Description of Slavic Languages» seit 2001.

International Folkloristics

This series includes theoretical studies of any genre or aspect of folklore. The series welcomes individually authored and collaboratively authored books, monographs, collections of data, bibliographies, and Festschriften. The emphasis will be on analytic and methodological innovations in the consideration of myth, folktale, legend, superstition, proverb, riddle, folksong, festival, game or any other form of folklore as well as any of the interpretative approaches to folklore topics. International Healthcare Ethics

Issues in healthcare ethics affect almost every person all over the world. The immense leaps in science and technology, changes in the general perception of national and global interests, possible limits in resources, mass communication, and other possible limits in resources, mass communication, and other factors have currently engendered a stronger interest and concern with health. This may range from the commonly discussed issues of euthanasia, abortion, macro- and microallocation of resources, and mandatory AIDS testing to the less frequently addressed but still vital issues in pharmacology, genetic testing, screening and therapy, nursing, mental health, and public health. Books, articles, and scholarly studies appear frequently in many countries. In each, the literature tends to consider the ethics of healthcare issues in depth but from a standpoint defined by culture and nationality, and by national government policies and perspectives. Such a standpoint necessarily limits and excludes many potentially useful and innovative approaches to issues. The International Healthcare Ethics series presents a broad perspective on a wide range of healthcare issues and the exchange of ideas between cultures and nations to stimulate thought. It also offers a forum for addressing healthcare issues that can affect each of us on a global scale. Manuscripts are welcome from universities, bioethics centers, and healthcare organizations.

International Bonhoeffer Interpretations

This series on the theology of Dietrich Bonhoeffer (1906–1945) seeks to offer what its title promises by presenting interpretations of his thought from international perspectives. The term interpretation is meant to indicate both careful analysis of Bonhoeffer’'s texts and the creative exploration of his theological ideas in order to gauge their relevance for contemporary issues of interpretation, religion, politics, and culture. The editors hope that this series will promote greater awareness of Bonhoeffer’'s international significance and facilitate research from a variety of cultural and disciplinary perspectives. The series IBI will include the conference proceedings of the annual International Bonhoeffer Colloquia (IBC) which are organized by the editors of the series. These colloquia concentrate on different aspects of Bonhoeffer’'s theology and try to coordinate the international network of Bonhoeffer projects. Their focus is the exchange and cooperation among younger research fellows dealing with the theology of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. The new series will also include monographs and essay collections which reflect on the new perspectives Bonhoeffer’'s theology opens up for current challenges experienced by an increasingly international global community.

Scottish Studies International

The Scottish Studies International (SSI) series produced by the Faculty of Translation Studies, Linguistics and Cultural Studies of the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz in Germersheim, Germany, publishes high-quality research work from across the broad and varied spectrum of Scottish Studies. Founded in 1982 by the late Professor Horst W. Drescher, the series originally focused on literature and translation studies. Current editor, Professor Klaus Peter Müller, has since extended its scope into the fields of cultural and media studies, a widening of range and perspective that is also reflected in the faculty's bi-annual Scottish Studies Newsletter. The series aims to explore both Scotland's turbulent past and its intriguing present flux in its culture, society, politics, economy, media, art, and literature. In order to evaluate their suitability for publication, all texts submitted will be peer-reviewed by the general editor as well as by members of the editorial board. Deutsche Sprachwissenschaft international

Die Reihe "Deutsche Sprachwissenschaft international" veröffentlicht Studien zur Germanistik und Linguistik in Monographien und Sammelbänden. Das breit gefächerte thematische Spektrum reicht dabei von theoretischen Ansätzen, die sich etwa mit Sprache und Recht auseinandersetzen, bis hin zu methodischen Überlegungen zur Sprachwissenschaft. Die Herausgeber sind Sprachwissenschaftler und arbeiten eng mit der Gesellschaft für deutsche Sprache zusammen.
