La collection Études de linguistique, littérature et arts accueille les travaux rédigés en français, en espagnol ou en italien relevant des domaines de la linguistique, de la littérature et des arts du spectacle, ainsi que les études qui conjuguent de manière créative ces trois disciplines de recherche. Elle est ouverte à tout type de projet de publication (monographies, ouvrages issus des thèses universitaires, projets collectifs, actes de colloque) et s'adresse en priorité, mais non exclusivement, aux chercheurs provenant de la Pologne ou d'autres pays de l'Europe de l'Est.

This series, edited by the Department of Language Sciences and Foreign Literatures of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, intends to publish scholarly reflections on the languages and literatures taught within this Languages and Literatures Faculty. The series is rooted in a tradition of studies which are both philologico-literary and linguistic - a combination of approaches designed to be both rigorous and complemen-tary. The themes of the series will focus on linguistic, stylistic and literary studies re-lated to both European and extra-European cultures. The series will include mostly mo-nographs and doctoral thesis. In der Reihe „Translinguae“ werden Themen der Germanistik und Linguistik aufgegriffen, die sich auf Kommunikationsformen beziehen, bei denen mehr als eine Sprache beteiligt ist. Wenn die Qualität der internationalen Kommunikation einen ausreichend hohen Standard erreichen soll, bedarf es weiterer Erforschung der linguistischen sowie der kulturellen und kommunikativen Aspekte translingualer Kommunikation im weitesten Sinne. Es geht also sowohl um den freien als auch um den gebundenen Transfer von Inhalten, wie er sich beim Übersetzen und Dolmetschen realisiert. Forschung, Didaktik und Praxis werden in dieser Reihe gleichermaßen berücksichtigt. Textbooks in English Language and Linguistics (TELL) is an introductory series covering the core areas of English linguistics and its most important sub-disciplines. Written in English, the TELL volumes are 200–250 pages long and serve as excellent works of reference and course material at every stage of English study programmes and are ideal literature for students preparing for examinations. The content, made accessible by clear explanations and concrete examples, is rounded off with exercises and tips for further reading. Research methods pertinent to the subject area treated by each volume are also presented and discussed. This series has been terminated after vol. 6. The volumes will provide a forum for research and discussion of the many related developments between the disciplines of linguistics and philosophy, featuring their respective contributions to the understanding of natural language.

The series brings together contemporary research within the fields of philosophy of language and linguistics. The range of topics includes philosophical and formal investigations into the nature of language, the influence of philosophy (especially, but not exclusively, analytic) upon linguistics and the philosophical background of semantic and pragmatic theories. Other topics of interest include the influence of modern linguistic research upon philosophy, issues in linguistic methodology, linguistic and philosophical aspects of argumentation, and the interrelations between philosophy of language, philosophy of literature, and philosophy of mind. Volumes in the series should be of interest to philosophers, linguists, and researchers within the fields of logic, argumentation theory, cognitive science and communication studies. Mehrsprachigkeit in Europa / Multilingualism in Europe

The home market, the Euro, strong international cooperation, economic success and peace in Europe will work better and with more stability, or at least less difficulty, the more multilin-gual Europeans are. While the institutional EU has done a lot to pursue the targets (since 2007, there have been a separate fund and a Commissioner for Multilingualism), the situation in the individual countries continues to differ widely. The result is that the multilingual abili-ties of European citizens and societal multilingualism, including diglossia, vary from country to country. The series Multilingualism in Europe seeks to contribute from different perspectivesto a bet-ter definition of the phenomenon of multilingualism, providing theoretical and practical sup-port on how multilingualism can be explored and promoted and how it can work effectively. Interdisciplinary approaches are welcome in the following areas: • Linguistics • Neurolinguistics • Psychology • Didactics of multilingualism • Politics • History • Sociology • Political Sciences • Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies Le marché européen, l'Euro, l’importante coopération internationale, la réussite économique et la paix en Europe sont d’autant plus stables et fonctionnent d’autant mieux si la plupart des citoyens européens sont plurilingues. L’UE a fait suivre ses objectifs de mesures concrètes (depuis 2007, il y a un commissaire à l'éducation, à la culture, au multilinguisme et à la jeunesse), cependant la situation dans les différents pays européens reste très hétérogène : les compétences plurilinguistiques des citoyens européens et le multilinguisme sociétal, y compris la diglossie varient d'un pays à l'autre. La collection « Multilinguisme en Europe » a comme objectif d’apporter une contribution en analysant ces questions sous des angles divers, en cernant le phénomène du multilinguisme et en fournissant des apports théoriques et pratiques qui permettent de promouvoir le multilinguisme et le savoir comment celui progresse de manière efficace. Les domaines scientifiques suivants constituent le point de départ, l’interdisciplinarité y est dominante : • linguistique • neurolinguistique • psychologie • didactique du plurilinguisme • histoire • sociologie • sciences politiques • littérature et civilisations comparées Binnenmarkt, Euro, intensive internationale Zusammenarbeit, wirtschaftlicher Erfolg und Friede in Europa können umso besser und stabiler bzw. überhaupt störungsfrei funktionieren, wenn möglichst viele EuropäerInnen mehrsprachig sind. Während die EU institutionell den Zielvorgaben konkrete Taten hat folgen lassen (seit 2007 gibt es ein eigenes Portfolio und damit einen eigenen Kommissar für Mehrsprachigkeit), sieht die Lage in den einzelnen Ländern weiterhin sehr unterschiedlich aus. Die Folge: Die Mehrsprachenkompetenz der europäischen BürgerInnen und die gesellschaftliche Mehrsprachigkeit inklusive der Diglossie variieren von Land zu Land. Die Reihe Mehrsprachigkeit in Europa möchte einen Beitrag dazu leisten, das Thema aus unterschiedlichen Blickwinkeln zu analysieren, das Phänomen der Mehrsprachigkeit besser zu definieren und theoretische und praktische Hilfestellungen dahin gehend zu geben, wie Mehrsprachigkeit erforscht und gefördert werden kann und wie sie effizient funktioniert. Der thematische Schwerpunkt der Reihe liegt auf Untersuchungen zu Sprachkontakt, Sprachkonflikten, Sprachbewusstsein und den Varietäten verschiedener romanischer Sprachen. Frankophonie, Mehrsprachigkeit und Migration sowie soziale Identifikation durch Sprache stehen ebenfalls im Fokus der Reihenbände. Herausgeber der Reihe ist der Sprachwissenschaftler Professor Jürgen Erfurt.

Die Reihe “Sprachkontakte. Variation, Migration und Sprachdynamik“ erscheint unter der Herausgeberschaft von Professor Thomas Stehl mit Studien aus dem Fachbereich der Linguistik. Die Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen im Bereich einer empirisch fundierten, funktionalen Kontaktlinguistik sprachlicher Variation, Interferenz und Konvergenz in der Romania sowie der Typologie und den Prozessen von Sprachwandel und Sprachgenese in der Sprachgeschichte romanischer Sprachen. Die Qualität der in dieser Reihe erscheinenden Arbeiten wird vor der Publikation durch den Herausgeber der Reihe geprüft.

The series Language and Text Studies publishes works of a broad range of research on aspects of language and text, including English, French, German, Slavonic and Baltic studies. Although its central perspective is linguistic in nature, publications also encompass literary and cultural studies. The series comprises monographs as well as anthologies. The editors Alexander Brock and Katrin Schlund are linguists at the English and Slavonic Departments of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. La collection Recherches linguistiques et textuelles publie des travaux relevant de la philologie des langues modernes (anglais, langues romanes, allemand, langues slaves et baltes) dans une optique linguistique. Elle s'adresse également aux travaux de recherches littéraires et interdisciplinaires portant sur l'analyse textuelle. Elle publie des monographies, mémoires de recherche, recueils thématiques et actes de colloques. Les éditeurs Alexander Brock et Katrin Schlund sont des linguistes spécialisés aux langues anglaise et slaves, travaillants à l'université Martin-Luther de Halle-Wittenberg.
