With its roots at Semmelweis University in Budapest – an institution with a longstanding tradition in medical excellence – the series is positioned to become a cornerstone of international medical linguistics research.

This series showcases innovative research, creativity and pedagogy in the interdisciplinary field of medical humanities. Books in the series explore the complexities of human bodies, minds, illness and wellbeing through analytical frameworks derived from humanistic disciplines and clinical practice. The series publishes a range of materials, including monographs and edited collections on scholarly approaches to medical issues in culture; creative works (accompanied by analytical and educational materials) that engage with medical humanities themes; and critical, engaged or radical pedagogies on focused topics for learners in the medical and health humanities.　 Medical Humanities: Criticism and Creativity is intended to provide an informative exchange across disciplines, encouraging theoretical and personal reflections on the condition of the human mind/body and contributing to debates on health-related issues from a broad range of perspectives. The series also invites research that opens up critical conversations on being human at the intersection of other forms of humanistic knowledge, such as environmental and digital humanities. We are especially interested in collaborations between academics in the humanities and healthcare professionals. All book proposals and manuscripts undergo rigorous peer review prior to acceptance and publication. Documents pour l’Histoire des Francophonies

Les dernières décennies du XXe siècle ont été caractérisées par l’émergence et la reconnaissance en tant que telles des littératures francophones. Ce processus ouvre le devenir du français à une pluralité dont il s’agit de se donner, désormais, les moyens d’approche et de compréhension. Cela implique la prise en compte des historicités de ces différentes cultures et littératures. Dans cette optique, la collection « Documents pour l’Histoire des Francophonies » entend mettre à la disposition du chercheur et du public, de façon critique ou avec un appareil critique, des textes oubliés, parfois inédits. Elle publie également des travaux qui touchent à la complexité comme aux enracinements historiques des francophonies et qui cherchent à tracer des pistes de réflexion transversales susceptibles de tirer de leur ghetto respectif les études francophones, voire d’avancer dans la problématique des rapports entre langue et littérature. Elle comporte une série consacrée à l’Europe, une à l’Afrique, une aux Amériques, et une aux problèmes théoriques des francophonies.
