  • Revisioning Philosophy

This series seeks innovative and explorative thought in the foundation, aim, and objectives of philosophy. Preference will be given to approaches to world philosophy and to the repositioning of traditional viewpoints. New understandings of knowledge and being in the history of philosophy will be considered. Works may take the form of monographs, collected essays, and translations which demonstrate the imaginative flair of examining foundational questions.

  • Philosophie et Politique / Philosophy and Politics

    ISSN: 1376-0920

The series “Practical Philosophy controversial” publishes studies from the disciplines of political philosophy, theoretical ethics, and applied ethics. It is a philosophical forum which seeks to make a contribution to contemporary controversies and debates surrounding societal challenges. Books are invited to explore the problematic tensions in ethical decision-making and acting in the context of new possibilities opening up in the wake of developments especially resulting from the intertwinement of medicine, technology, and biology, and the global context of responsibility. Book proposals are welcome and may be submitted to the editor Prof. Dr. Christina Schües. Editor’s website: Prof. Dr. Christina Schües Prior to publication, the quality of the work published in this series is reviewed by the editor. • Studies in Children's Literature

    ISSN: 1531-3964

"This series will feature the work of leading and emerging scholars in children's literature who situate their study in an international literacy, cultural, and linguistic context, drawing on tools of historical research and theoretical paradigms from various disciplines, but offering new aesthetic frameworks as well as detailes textual analysis for the understanding of a literary phenomenon of enormous scope and power. The purpose of such a series is to expand dialogue among students and scholars of children's literature; questioning critical assumptions, including the notion of children's literature itself; opening new areas of inquiry; and advancing the serious exploration of that which is ostensibly written for the child."
