Austrian Culture
The series on Austrian Culture provides critical evaluations, in English or German, of Austrian authors, artists, works, currents, or figures from the Middle Ages to the present. Austria is defined as those parts of the old Habsburg empire that produced notable writings in the German language, including Czechoslovakia (Prague) and the Bukovina (Czernowitz). The series offers a forum for the exploration of the multifarious relationships between literature and other aspects of Austrian culture, such as philosophy, music, art, architecture, and the theater. Dissertations and other monograph-length material as well as scholarly translations or editions of outstanding literary works are welcome. Austrian Studies in English
ISSN: 1810-4517
Founded in 1895 under the title Wiener Beiträge zur englischen Philologie and continued as Austrian Studies in English from 1995 onwards, this is one of the oldest academic series world-wide. For more than a century it has offered a platform for the publication of outstanding monographs and article collections on the languages, literatures and cultures of the anglophone world to researchers with an affiliation with Austria. We invite excellent and innovative studies on these topics to be sent to one of the editors. All manuscripts are submitted to a two-stage peer-review process to maintain the high quality of the series. *** NEW FORMAT! *** In addition to the long-standing tradition of publishing monographs and conference volumes, Austrian Studies in English now offers a new fast-track Prompts format for publication. It is an innovative format, for studies that are intermediate in length between a conventional monograph and a typical journal article (between 25,000 and 50,000 words). Its focus is thus on the succinct, yet in-depth and state-of-the-art treatment of a narrowly delimited topic. This slimmer format will allow for speedier production (while keeping the quality control and peer-review process rigorously in place), which makes this fast-track procedure particularly advantageous for topical issues in a fast-changing world. The new format is thus ideal for timely topics, which tackle current issues and under-researched areas, with particular focus on the exploration of contemporary questions and interdisciplinary research. Editors: Sabine Coelsch-Foisner (Salzburg), Gunther Kaltenböck (Graz), Gabriella Mazzon (Innsbruck) Advisory Editorial Board: Allan James (Klagenfurt), Mario Klarer (Innsbruck), Holger Klein (Salzburg), Ewald Mengel (Wien), Nikolaus Ritt (Wien), Monika Seidl (Wien), Barbara Seidlhofer (Wien), Wilfried Wieden (Salzburg), Werner Wolf (Graz)

Relations financières internationales / International Financial Relations
The «International Triffin Foundation», hosted by the Institute for European Studies at the Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium), has the objective of establishing a centre dedicated to the continuation of the scientific work and the intellectual legacy of Robert Triffin (1911–1993) in the field of the international monetary system, and more generally in the areas of economics, finance and the social sciences. Regular publications in the series «International Financial Relations» will ensure promotion of individual or collective works whose main themes are the ones with which Robert Triffin was particularly associated (the European Payments Union, the creation of Special Drawing Rights, the European Monetary System), as well as addressing the new problems which the international monetary system will be confronting at the dawn of the 21st century (external effects of the European Economic and Monetary Union, new tasks for the International Monetary Fund, prevention of financial crises, etc.). Studies in Modern German and Austrian Literature
ISSN: 2235-3488
Studies in Modern German and Austrian Literature is a broadly conceived series that aims to publish significant research and scholarship devoted to German and Austrian literature of all forms and genres from the eighteenth century to the present day. The series promotes the analysis of intersections of literature with thought, society and other art forms, such as film, theatre, autobiography, music, painting, sculpture and performance art. It includes monographs on single authors or works, focused historical periods, and studies of experimentation with form and genre. Wider ranging explorations of literary, cultural or socio-political phenomena in the German-speaking lands or among writers in exile and analyses of national, ethnic and cultural identities in literature are also welcome topics. Proposals are invited for monographs, high-quality doctoral dissertations revised for book publication, focused collections of essays (including selectively edited conference proceedings), annotated editions and bibliographies. Senior figures in the academic profession as well as early career or independent scholars are encouraged to submit proposals. All proposals and manuscripts will be peer reviewed. We publish in both German and English. This series is a successor to Studies in Modern German Literature, edited by Peter D.G. Brown.
