Business and Innovation

The creation of new activities, of news production and consumption modes, of new goods and services, of new markets and new jobs (etc.) depends as much on the heroic action of entrepreneurs as on the strategies of big corporations which develop their activities at a global scale. Innovation and business are interlinked. The main themes of the books published in this series are: «　Entrepreneurship, enterprise and innovation　»; «　Innovation strategies in a global context　»; «　Innovation policies and business climate　»; «　Innovation, business dynamics and socio-economic change　». The synergies between innovative entrepreneurship, firms’ strategies and innovation policies is of major importance in the explanation of technological paradigms change and of the transformations in economic and social structures of wealthy and less wealthy countries. In this series are published books in English or in French specialized in economics, management and sociology of innovation and also dealing with change and entrepreneurship in a local, national or international perspective. This series is supported by the Research Network on Innovation. This series is directed by the Réseau de Recherche sur l’Innovation. La création de nouvelles activités, de nouveaux modes de production et de consommation, de nouveaux biens et services, de nouveaux marchés, de nouveaux emplois, etc. repose aussi bien sur l’action héroïque des entrepreneurs que sur la stratégie des grandes entreprises qui se déploient sur une échelle mondiale. L’innovation et les affaires sont intrinsèquement liées. Trois grandes thématiques seront particulièrement privilégiées : « Entrepreneuriat, entreprise, innovation et développement durable » ; « Innovation et réseaux » ; « L’Innovation dans un contexte global ». Les rapports synergiques entre entrepreneuriat innovant, stratégies des firmes et politiques d’innovation est un axe majeur dans le changement des paradigmes technologiques et la modification des structures économiques et sociales des pays riches et moins riches. Dans la collection sont publiés en français ou en anglais des ouvrages d’économie, de management et de sociologie de l’innovation, du changement et de l’entrepreneur dans une perspective locale, nationale et internationale. Die Buchreihe "Tradition - Reform - Innovation" widmet sich Forschungsergebnissen zur Modernität des Mittelalters aus dem Fachbereich der Geschichte. Die Herausgeber sind Professor Nikolaus Staubach und Professor Bernd Roling. Die Reihe umfasst Monographien und Sammelbände. Die Forschungsschwerpunkte der Reihenherausgeber, die sich auch in der Reihe spiegeln, liegen u. a. auf den Formen und Funktionen öffentlicher Kommunikation, der Hofkultur und Herrscherrepräsentation sowie der politischen Theorie im Mittelalter.

The series Research on Korea responds to the fact that interest in Korea and the need for reliable information on the country's history and present have risen considerably during the last decades, both in- and outside of academia. The series offers an interdisciplinary platform for academic works engaging with Korea. Not being restricted to specific methodological or historiographical approaches, the series is open for studies of Korea in any field as long as they make use of Korean primary sources and systematically engage with Korean language secondary literature. Based on solid methodology, the studies assembled in this series aim to open up paths for new insights and new research questions on Korea and Korea's role in the regional and international context. In der Schriftenreihe Research on Korea werden neuere Ergebnisse der Koreaforschung veröffentlicht, um dem in den letzten Jahrzehnten stark gesteigerten Interesse der akademischen und allgemeinen Öffentlichkeit an verlässlichen Informationen zu Korea nachzukommen. Sie bietet ihr eine interdisziplinäre Plattform, ohne sich dabei methodisch oder historiographisch bestimmten Richtungen verpflichtet zu fühlen. Allerdings legen die Herausgeber großen Wert darauf, dass koreanische Primärquellen ebenso wie in koreanischer Sprache verfasste Sekundärliteratur umfassend und systematisch verwendet werden. Die Reihe ist offen für Korea-Studien jeder Art, die auf der Grundlage von Quellenarbeit und solider Methodologie den Weg zu neuen Erkenntnissen und Fragestellungen in der historischen, sozial- und kulturwissenschaftlichen Forschung zu Korea und zu Koreas Rolle im regionalen wie internationalen Kontext ebnen.
