The Contemporary Film, Television, and Video Studies series seeks to publish serious, scholarly materials about contemporary American and international film, television, and video practices. Topics of interest include studies of national media practices, the globalization of media production and consumption, and studies of important and influential media practitioners. Submission of single author manuscripts and edited collections of essays from a wide range of theoretical and methodological perspectives are invited. Polish Studies in Culture, Nations and Politics

The “Polish Studies in Culture, Nations and Politics” series publishes monographs and collected volumes aimed at scholars working in Sociology, Political Sciences and History. The studies depict the formation of cultural identities, and their subsequent expression in historical, geographical and political contexts focusing on selected cases from Poland and the globalized world. The editor of the series Professor Joanna Kurczewska and her co-editor Dr. Yasuko Shibata both specialize in relations between culture, politics, locality and nationalism in the post-socialist systems. Gießener Arbeiten zur neueren deutschen Literatur und Literaturwissenschaft

Die Reihe wurde von Dirk Grathoff und Erwin H. Leibfried begründet. Sie publiziert Monographien und Sammelbände aus dem Gebiet der Germanistik. Hierbei wird das gesamte Spektrum der Germanistik angeschnitten. Die Beiträge haben auch einen sprach- und kulturwissenschaftlichen Bezug. Die Herausgeber sind Professoren für Germanistik mit dem Schwerpunkt (Neuere) Deutsche Literatur.

Die Reihe Lodzer Beiträge zu Literatur- und Kulturwissenschaft versteht sich als Sprachrohr eines Strangs der Germanistik, in der die philologische Orientierung durch kulturwissenschaftliche, interkulturelle und medienanalytische Perspektiven erweitert wird. Eine solche Ausrichtung resultiert aus der rezenten Entwicklung der Literaturwissenschaft, der das wissenschaftliche Interesse der Reihenherausgeber gilt und der sich die Lodzer Germanistik verpflichtet fühlt. Einer der Schwerpunkte der Reihe liegt auf der Erkundung neuerer theoretischer Positionen innerhalb der Literatur- und Kulturwissenschaft sowie auf der Aufzeichnung theoretischer Implikationen, bei denen zwischen den literature studies und benachbarten (geistes-) wissenschaftlichen Disziplinen interagiert wird. Willkommen sind Beiträge in deutscher, englischer und französischer Sprache.

Professor Hans-Jörg Schwenk (1959–2020) und Professor Janusz Golec haben die Reihe „Lubliner Beiträge zur Germanistik und Angewandten Linguistik” mitbegründet und bis zur Veröffentlichung des Bandes Nr. 14 mitherausgegeben. In der Reihe werden Arbeiten zur Literatur-, Kultur- und Sprachwissenschaft, sowie zur Fremdsprachendidaktik und angewandten Linguistik veröffentlicht. Die Schriftenreihe erscheint seit dem Jahr 2013 und präsentiert aktuelle Forschungsergebnisse in diesen Bereichen. Sie umfasst Monographien und Sammelbände über einzelne Autorinnen und Autoren, Gattungen und Themen aus dem Gebiet der deutschsprachigen Literatur- und Kulturgeschichte. Der Schwerpunkt linguistischer Reflexion in der Reihe liegt auf der eingehenden Erörterung applikativer Fragen, die in den Teilgebieten der Linguistik thematisiert werden. Die Reihe bietet auch Studien über die Relationen Sprache –Text – Diskurs an. In der Reihe werden einzel- sowie mehrsprachige Monographien und Sammelbände herausgegeben (Deutsch, Englisch, aber auch andere Sprachen), die ein breitgefächertes Spektrum von Themen und Aspekten in den Blick nehmen.
