Mehrsprachigkeit in Schule und Unterricht

Mehrsprachigkeit in Schule und Unterricht ergibt sich aus einer sprachlich wie kulturell diversifizierten Schülerschaft, aus dem Angebot des Fremdsprachenunterrichts und nicht zuletzt aufgrund 'diskursiver' Mehrsprachigkeit des Fachunterrichts. Sie ist daher zugleich ein didaktisches, interaktionales sowie institutionales Phänomen und fordert Schule sowie Unterricht gleichermaßen heraus. Die Reihe ist Arbeiten zur Erforschung dieses Problemkomplexes verpflichtet. Sie ist offen für Untersuchungen aus allen sprach-, kultur- und fachdidaktischen, erziehungs- und sozialwissenschaftlichen Disziplinen. Zudem ist es ein wesentliches Ziel der Reihe, den Methoden- und Perspektivenpluralismus im Forschungsfeld schul- und unterrichtsbezogener Mehrsprachigkeit zu dokumentieren. Die Reihe Studien und Texte zur Religionsgeschichtlichen Schule veröffentlicht Monographien, Quellentexte und Neudrucke zum Wirken der «Religionsgeschichtlichen Schule». Damit wird die Gruppe von evangelischen Theologen bezeichnet, die um die Wende vom 19. zum 20. Jahrhundert für einen radikalen Historismus eintraten. Sie prägten so maßgeblich den Fachdiskurs. Wegen ihres Anspruchs, ihre Erkenntnisse auch populär zu vermitteln, entfalteten sie darüber hinaus große Wirkung in der breiten Öffentlichkeit.

Bible and Theology in Africa

The 20th century made sub-Saharan Africa a Christian continent. This formidable church growth is reflected in a wide range of attempts at contextualizing Christian theology and biblical interpretation in Africa. At a grassroots level ordinary Christians express their faith and read the Bible in ways reflecting their daily situation; at an academic level, theologians and biblical scholars relate the historical traditions and sources of Christianity to the socio- and religio-cultural context of Africa. In response to this, the series Bible and Theology in Africa aims at making African theology and biblical interpretation its subject as well as object, as the concerns of African theologians and biblical interpreters will be voiced and critically analyzed. Both Africans and Western authors are encourgared to consider this series.
