Empirische und methodologische Beiträge zur Sozialwissenschaft

Die Reihe versammelt hochwertige Beiträge zu ausgewählten Fragen der empirischen Sozialforschung. Monographien und Sammelbände in dieser Reihe verbinden theoretische Reflexion mit methodisch anspruchsvollen Untersuchungen. Ohne Beschränkung auf bestimmte Gegenstände ist die Reihe ein attraktives Forum für empirisch ausgerichtete Arbeiten aus dem gesamten Spektrum der Sozialwissenschaften. Originelle Untersuchungen zu politikwissenschaftlichen und soziologischen Fragen finden hier ebenso ihren Platz wie innovative Beiträge zu kommunikationswissenschaftlichen und psychologischen Problemen. Die Reihe suchte aktuelle Entwicklungen in der empirischen Sozialforschung aufzugreifen, den interdisziplinären Diskurs in den Sozialwissenschaften anzuregen und der Forschung wichtige Impulse zu verleihen. Mit Band 28 wurde die Reihe abgeschlossen.

Diese Reihe ist angesiedelt im Feld der Bildungsforschung unter der Perspektive, grundlagentheoretisch und empirisch Themen aus der Fachdidaktik und empiri-schen Erziehungswissenschaft zu bearbeiten. Vor allem die Fachdidaktik gewinnt heute vor dem Hintergrund aktueller Befunde nationaler und internationaler Untersuchungen zur Unterrichtspraxis im deutschen Schulsystem sichtbar an Bedeutung. Schließlich wird sowohl von bildungspolitischer als auch wissenschaftlicher Seite der Unterrichtsentwicklung ein erhebliches Potential beim Bemühen, die Schulleistungen der Schülerinnen und Schüler zu verbessern, zugesprochen. Doch auch die empirische Erziehungswissenschaft erfährt im Kontext von Allgemeiner und Fachdidaktik gegenwärtig höchste Aufmerksamkeit, wenn es um die Frage geht, wie die Schule heute und morgen wissenschaftlich begründet weiterentwickelt werden kann. Die Bände erschließen in monographischer Darstellung zentrale Aspekte aktueller fachdidaktischer und erziehungswissenschaftlicher Fragestellungen. Empirische Forschungsergebnisse werden fundiert vorgestellt und sachkundig mit der gegenwärtigen Theorie-diskussion und schulischen Praxisentwicklung verbunden.

Studi Pergolesiani / Pergolesi Studies

Studi Pergolesiani / Pergolesi Studies is a series founded and conceived by Francesco Degrada. The first issue (1986), were the proceedings of the first conference on Giovanni Battista Pergolesi held in Jesi in 1983. Other conference proceedings followed, all with studies on Pergolesi, until the sixth issue was published in 2011. The series, now published by Peter Lang, continues under the aegis of the Fondazione Pergolesi Spontini of Jesi, which promotes studies, editions and modern performances of music by Pergolesi. Erano qui raccolti i contributi del primo convegno dedicato a Giovanni Battista Pergolesi tenutosi a Jesi nel 1983. Ad esso seguirono altri Atti di convegni con studi di soggetto pergolesiano, fino al sesto numero pubblicato nel 2011. La serie ora prosegue con l’editore Peter Lang, sempre sotto l’egida della Fondazione Pergolesi Spontini di Jesi che promuove gli studi, le edizioni e le esecuzioni moderne delle musiche di Pergolesi. This is a series of monographs designed to provide access to research at the cutting-edge of current Patristic Studies. Particular attention will be given to the development of Christian theology during the first five centuries of the Church and to the different types of Biblical interpretation which the Fathers used. Each study will engage with modern discussion of the theme being treated, but will also break new ground in original textual research. In exceptional cases, a volume may consist of the critical edition of a text, with notes and references, as well as a translation. Revised doctoral dissertations may also be published, though the main focus of the series will be on more mature research and reflection.
