The Impacts of the Demographic Variances of Tourism Students on State-Trait Anxiety Levels

Extract

Anxiety has continued its existence as one of the main problems of mankind. The development of mankind hasn’t lessened the anxiety: Conversely, it offered it to mankind by recasting it into renewed forms day by day (Akmaz and Ceyhan, 2009). According to Aydın and Dilmaç (2004), a normal level of anxiety helps an individual in the sense of willingness, decision-making, generating energy towards decisions he or she makes, and promoting performances by using this energy. However, if the anxiety is at a very high level, the individual can’t use his or her energy efficiently and direct his or her attention and strength to his of her task (Deniz et al., 2009).
