Turkey-Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) Relations


Abstract: This article analyzes Turkey-Black Sea Economic Co-operation (BSEC) relations by giving specific emphasis to the origins, motivations, and objectives of BSEC and Turkey’s primary motives for BSEC. It is argued that the objectives and the institutional structure of the organization has given Turkey an opportunity to maintain country’s leadership position in the region as it also helps to create an opportunity for reaching closer cooperation, greater stability and prosperity in the BSEC region.
