Summary

We offer you the third collective monograph from the series of scientific papers of the Association of Slavists ‘POLYSLAV’, based on the results of the XXVII Annual International Scientific Conference of Slavists ‘POLYSLAV–XXVII’ (Prague, the Czech Republic). The participants of the conference in their reports focused on new trends in the development of modern Slavistics and, more broadly, philology, namely: anthropocentricity, systemocentricity, multi-paradigmality.
Our authors are modern promising scientists from leading universities of Europe and Asia, specializing in their works on unique sources and research material, applying narrowly special or complex research methodology, blazing new trails in actual directions of modern philology. All chapters are prepared on the material of the Slavic languages and cultures. Separate chapters contain the results of research into the author's style, artistic images and prototypes, grammatical and logical-philosophical categories in their lingual interpretations.

Biographical notes

Svitlana I. Terekhova (Volume editor) BEGOVIĆ KATARINA (Volume editor) Stefan Stojanović (Volume editor)

Svitlana I. Terekhova is Doctor of Sciences (linguistics), Professor, Professor at the Department of Germanic and Roman Languages in Kyiv National Linguistic University (Ukraine). She is the author of more than 270 works in contrastive linguistics, translatology, editology and proofreading in English, Russian, Ukrainian languages. Katarina Begović is assistant professor at the Department of Serbian with South Slavonic Languages at Faculty of Philology in Belgrade, specializing in Serbian Language History, i.e., in Historical Lexical and Phraseological Semantics, Diachronic Lexicology, Phraseology of Slavic languages. Stefan Stojanović was born in Belgrade and studied at University of Belgrade, University of Alberta, University of Toronto. He defended his PhD thesis Functional-semantic field of perfectivity in Russian and Serbian at University of Belgrade, 2017. He has published papers in Slavic verbal morphology and etymology.
