<P><STRONG>Ian Levy</STRONG>, a NYC native, is an assistant professor of school counseling at Manhattan
College and a former high school counselor in the South Bronx. Levyâ€™s research explores the school counselorâ€™s use of
emotionally themed mixtape writing, recording, and performing as a small-group counseling intervention.
<STRONG>Edmund Adjapong</STRONG> is an assistant professor in the Educational Studies Department at Seton Hall
University. He is also a faculty fellow at The Institute for Urban and Multicultural Education at Teachers College, Columbia
University and author of <EM>#HipHopEd: The Compilation on Hip-Hop Education Volume.</P>_
