Berceste Gülçin Özdemir completed her Ph.D. at İstanbul University in December 2016. Her research concerns feminist film theory, psychoanalytical film theory, Turkish cinema, independent cinema, digital cinema and characters’ representation in film narratives. She is a Visiting Lecturer at İstanbul University and instructing about television and cinema lessons.
