Biographical notes

H.R. Coursen (Author)

The Author: H. R. Coursen attended Amherst College, Wesleyan University, and The University of Connecticut. He teaches Shakespeare at Southern New Hampshire University and Aviation History at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He has published 20 novels, 30 books of poetry, and 17 books on Shakespeare. In 1996, a poll conducted by Penn State University named him «one of the twenty-five master teachers of Shakespeare in the twentieth century». In recent years, he has won the New England Poetry Club prizes for best book, best poem, and best translation.
