Zusammenfassung
By focusing on study practices and the meaning of studying as a hybrid, or cross-over, activity, the special issue provides a welcome contribution to the philosophy and theory of higher education. As Schildermans rightfully points out in his introduction, putting practices center stage “allows for reformulating the problem of the future university (…) in an ongoing experimentation with the practices of study that still find place at the university.”
