Summary

Since the appearance of her Dafydd ap Gwilym and the European Context (Cardiff: University of Wales Press, 1989), Helen Fulton (now at Bristol University) has been conspicuously industrious in the study of Britain’s early vernacular literatures. With the publication of her Festschrift, the world now has a chance to judge her achievements and those of the thirteen like-minded individuals who contributed papers in her honor.
