Issues in Systematic Theology

This series emphasizes issues in contemporary systematic theology but is open to theological issues from the past. Works in this series seek to explore such issues as the relation of reason and revelation, experience and doctrine, the meaning of revelation, method in theology, Trinitarian Theology, the doctrine of God, Christology, sacraments and the Church. Of course other issues such as ecumenical relations or specific doctrinal studies on topics such as predestination or studies evaluating particular influential theologians may be considered. Authors whose work is critical, constructive, and ecumenical are encouraged to consider this series. One of the aims of this series is to illustrate that Christian systematic theologians from different denominations may seek and find Christian unity through dialogue on those central issues that unite them in their quest for truth. Studi Pergolesiani / Pergolesi Studies

Studi Pergolesiani / Pergolesi Studies is a series founded and conceived by Francesco Degrada. The first issue (1986), were the proceedings of the first conference on Giovanni Battista Pergolesi held in Jesi in 1983. Other conference proceedings followed, all with studies on Pergolesi, until the sixth issue was published in 2011. The series, now published by Peter Lang, continues under the aegis of the Fondazione Pergolesi Spontini of Jesi, which promotes studies, editions and modern performances of music by Pergolesi. Studi pergolesiani / Pergolesi studies è una serie ideata da Francesco Degrada il cui primo numero uscì nel 1986. Erano qui raccolti i contributi del primo convegno dedicato a Giovanni Battista Pergolesi tenutosi a Jesi nel 1983. Ad esso seguirono altri Atti di convegni con studi di soggetto pergolesiano, fino al sesto numero pubblicato nel 2011. La serie ora prosegue con l’editore Peter Lang, sempre sotto l’egida della Fondazione Pergolesi Spontini di Jesi che promuove gli studi, le edizioni e le esecuzioni moderne delle musiche di Pergolesi.
