Cette collection recueille des études de littérature française orientées vers le domaine de la comparaison, englobant en même temps le genre populaire et la littérature écrite par des femmes. La richesse de la littérature française mise face à face avec les littératures hispaniques et les tendances populaires de l’époque contemporaine ainsi que l’écriture des femmes auteures offre un large et intéressant éventail de possibilités qui permet d’approfondir dans les aspects les plus représentatifs de la littérature francophone contemporaine. La collection accueille monographies, ouvrages collectifs, actes de colloque et thèses de doctorat en castillan, français et catalan.

The “Mikroglottika series“ provides a forum for special branch of Linguistics: Minority Languages. The series contains book editions of an online periodical and detailed studies on minority languages. Topics dealt with in the series range from philological descriptions of a minority language in relation to any linguistic parameter (phonology, morphology, syntax, lexicon etc.) to sociolinguistic descriptions of particular situations involving minority languages. This series will publish original work in theoretical and applied linguistics—both diachronic and synchronic—covering topics in the fields of phonology, morphology, lexis, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics. It will include philosophical studies in contemporary epistemology, belief and mental representation, rule following, realism, anti-realism, thought and intention, truth, and reference. The volumes will provide a forum for research and discussion of the many related developments between the disciplines of linguistics and philosophy, featuring their respective contributions to the understanding of natural language. Studies in Historical Linguistics

Studies in Historical Linguistics brings together work which utilises the comparative method of language study. Topics include the examination of language change over time, the genetic classification of language, lexicography, dialectology and etymology. Pronunciation, lexis, morphology and syntax are examined within the framework of historical linguistics. Both synchronic and diachronic approaches are used so that language is examined both at one time and across time. Historical Linguistics is still a young area of academic study, but it has its foundations in one of the oldest - philology. This series recognises both the seminal importance of philology, and the recent development through the conceptual framework provided by linguistic science.

"The question of “interpretation” of the text is at the center of this collection of monographs and commentaries on classical literatures. Interpretation starts with the realisation that at the outset, the sense of a text is an hypothesis to be gradually and constantly revised and ascertained. Grammar, syntax, and rhetoric are certainly the necessary part for this critical operation, but they fall short of giving full sense to the signification of the text. A philological commentary establishes the texts as close as possible to the author’s text, and provides the information necessary for modern readers to understand what the text meant to its contemporary users. But besides the impossibility of achieving this task fully, this sort of information does not provide the sense of the text as it opens itself to the questions of its individuality and universality, its historicity and its transhistorical iterability, as it hides the rules and game of its composition, its difference in order to show its identity. These opposite poles are constantly united and create a tension, a continuous oscillation that are the very domaine of the interpretative analysis, and the conditions of the text’s ever emerging sense . The hermeneutic circle, through which the critical hypothesis is constantly revised and made more precise, can be viewed also as a sort of deconstructive operation, a decomposing of the text in order to recompose it around its now discovered rules and games, of which the author is not necessarily always fully aware. Because of these conditions the sense of a text is more open to the critics than to its author; this point makes the critics conscious that as they are “reading”, they are in some way “writing” the text."
