LISA BASS is an assistant professor of education at North Carolina State University. Dr. Bass received her Ph.D. in educational leadership and policy studies and comparative and international education from The Pennsylvania State University. Her work focuses on education reform, with an emphasis on the ethics of caring and equitable education for all students. Dr. Bass has published articles in education journals, and co-authored a book, Building Bridges from High Poverty Communities, to Schools, to Productive Citizenship: A Holistic Approach to Addressing Poverty through Exceptional Educational Leadership (Peter Lang, 2013).
