Performance Barometer

Abstract: The manner of valuation and reporting the performance of a company is outlined in a complex and relational context, because of the different actors which contribute to its construction. The process of building performance is different from one firm to another, each one having its own expression space of performance, namely its own leverages. Building performance is based on a specific information system that develops in an informational space proper for the company. The only common element is the performance measurement that is made after concrete economic-financial criteria, but whose informational usage intersects with valences of the proper space for each company (market segment, differentiation and strategic contexts, culture, etc.). In this context, we have built the barometer of performance.
