With the technological advances of recent years, new software and hardware-based systems are used in most areas. With these systems used, data production continues to increase in personal, corporate, commercial and many other areas. Raw data alone does not mean much. Information systems created by information technology infrastructure convert data into information after the applied processes. Database systems are much more needed for the storage and management of the information generated. Revealing meaningful relationships hidden in a stack of high-volume data stored in databases shows the function of data mining. Data mining is actually a process that works constantly in our lives but we often don’t notice. For example, data is collected when a credit card is used in a shopping mall or when browsing the internet or registering with an organization. This data is constantly analyzed by the companies to which they belong. As a result of these analyses, more meaningful information is tried to be obtained. For example, people’s habits, preferences or behaviors are extracted from this information. In other words, this information is obtained through data mining methods. It is very important for businesses in every sector to make strategic decisions for the future. Therefore, systems are needed to make predictions using useful information.
