Introduction
Personality Factors and the Use of Facebook
When we look at the studies examining the relationship between personality traits and social media, we can see a continuous increase of studies on the interaction between Facebook usage habits and individuals’ personality. In this study, we primarily focused on personality factors and social media concepts. Furthermore, we then aimed to examine the relationship between personality traits and the use of Facebook. In the last part of research study, findings and conclusions are given.
Personality Factors
Personality is the unique factors that affect a person’s feelings, thinking, and behaviour. Constantly, under the influence of internal and external stimuli, personality includes the individual’s biological, psychological, genetic, and all acquired abilities; motives; feelings; desires; habits; and all behaviours.
Briefly, it is possible to see the formation of innate properties and environmental impact in human personality. Here, by taking into account environmental effects, not only in people’s individual-specific features, but a certain extent in human society, it can be concluded that it reflects some common features of humans in a certain extent (Tınar, 1999).
Personality is a name that is loaded by time to people a biological and social characteristics, also within a certain time it continuity protects the psychological behaviour in the (thoughts, feelings, and actions in the) differences and partnerships all of the defining trends and character.
