The rise of the social sciences is part of the historical evolution of globalisation and social sciences provide an intellectual foundation for globalisation. Social sciences have undergone a radical change in epistemology and methodology. Yet, the content and subject matter in social sciences involve a peculiar discourse on globalisation.
