Understanding/Interpreting Social Structure Of Rural Settlements Using Participatory Techniques
It is quite unlikely to be able to examine the social structure in settlements, especially in rural settlements, using traditional research methods. Research undertaken only by asking questions or requesting information may irritate society and can only enable for the transmission of usual and superficial information. It may require the use of participatory techniques which will ensure the mutual exchange of information depending on the type, feature, or privacy of information needed or cause the presentation of such information with deep discussions.
