Summary
Against the backdrop of deepening globalization, national image has become one of the core elements of a country’s soft power. As a vital communicative bridge between a nation and the world, language services play a crucial role in the shaping of national image. This paper delves into the internal logic of national image construction and, building upon the traditional pathways of self-shaping and other-shaping, innovatively proposes a new concept: AI-mediated shaping, thereby expanding the theoretical boundaries of national image formation. From the perspective of language services, the study constructs the 3C Model, which includes enhancing Cross-Cultural Awareness, constructing Counter-Framing, and optimizing Corpus. The model aims to provide both theoretical insight and practical guidance for shaping national image in the new media environment. It seeks to facilitate the precise communication and effective construction of national image on three levels—emotional, factual, and semantic—ultimately achieving accurate public cognition of a nation’s image.
