Students and Technology
The Internet is an important tool for everyday life and has become a crucial tool for higher education. Students are pervasive users of the Internet for selflearning. Being fast adopters of technology, they have been and will continue to be considered “evergreen.” That is, they will usher in new technologies on college campuses, and their use of and response to these technologies will create more opportunities for integration of technology in higher education. While higher education is grappling with how to educate using Web 2.0, the current technology trend, many are now thinking ahead to the next set of college students—Generation V.
