Urban Girls

With more attention being directed toward adolescent girls' and young women’s educational development and human rights across the globe, urban girls as an educationally and politically disenfranchised group are becoming more of the primary focus of educational, sociological, and psychological research and discourse. There is a need for theory, inquiry, and praxis that considers the dynamics of the interactions of race, class, gender, age, and spatial location on　youth education and overall socio-emotional development. The social and cultural context of where students learn, play, and work significantly shape youth's identities and agency. Similarly, gender plays an important role on students’ academic and social development. The Urban Girls series brings scholarly attention to the unique, yet diverse, cultural experiences and identities of adolescent girls and young women being socialized in urban contexts. Authors explore and theorize how young women's racialized and gendered experiences in their families, communities, and schools and larger social contexts foster agency, resilience, and resistance. Beiträge zur Geschichte der Psychologie

Diese etablierte Schriftenreihe trägt der stetig wachsenden Bedeutung der Psychologiegeschichte Rechnung, indem sie mit vielfältigen geschichtlichen Arbeiten einen Beitrag zum Verständnis der Entwicklung des Fachs und der Wissenschaft Psychologie und ihren Nachbardisziplinen leistet. Die Geschichte psychologischer Strömungen und Institutionen, einzelne Entwicklungsphasen und Teilgebiete der Psychologie sowie Leben und Werk bedeutender Persönlichkeiten werden gemäß dem Stand der Forschung behandelt. Hierbei bilden Ergebnisse von Fachtagungen zu Themen der Psychologiegeschichte einen bedeutsamen Teil der Reihe. Die Bedeutung des Personalmanagements für den Erfolg von Unternehmen ist in der Praxis wie in der Wissenschaft unbestritten. Allerdings zeigt sich national und international, daß nach wie vor zwischen Anspruch und Wirklichkeit große Unterschiede bestehen. Diese Schriftenreihe will dazu beitragen, die Defizite zu reduzieren. So werden neue Entwicklungen im Bereich des Personalmanagements vorgestellt, erfolgreiche Praktiken präsentiert, interdisziplinäre Verknüpfungen verdeutlicht. Sowohl konzeptionelle Arbeiten wie empirische Studien werden in dieser Schriftenreihe aufgenommen. Im Einzelfall handelt es sich um Sammelbände und Konferenzberichte, wobei auch hier besonders internationale Aspekte des Personalmanagements diskutiert werden sollen. Die Autoren dieser Schriftenreihe sind entsprechend sowohl Vertreter verschiedener Bereiche der Praxis als auch der Wissenschaft. Die Schriftenreihe spricht Fach- und Führungskräfte in der Privatwirtschaft wie im öffentlichen Bereich genauso an wie Wissenschaftler und Vertreter von Verbänden und der Politik. Die Herausgeber verteten die Institute für Personalwesen und Internationales Management der Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg bzw. der OTA Hochschule Berlin. Sie leiten außerdem die F.G.H. Forschungsgruppe Hamburg.

La collection Études de linguistique, littérature et arts accueille les travaux rédigés en français, en espagnol ou en italien relevant des domaines de la linguistique, de la littérature et des arts du spectacle, ainsi que les études qui conjuguent de manière créative ces trois disciplines de recherche. Elle est ouverte à tout type de projet de publication (monographies, ouvrages issus des thèses universitaires, projets collectifs, actes de colloque) et s'adresse en priorité, mais non exclusivement, aux chercheurs provenant de la Pologne ou d'autres pays de l'Europe de l'Est.
