Interdisziplinäre Studien zur Musik – Interdisciplinary Studies of Music is a publication series that emphasizes the transdisciplinary and international nature of musicological research. The series editors, Tomi Mäkelä (Professor of Musicology at Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg) and Tobias Robert Klein (Privatdozent at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin) are equally interested in manuscripts with a historical, systematic or transcultural orientation. Hitherto published volumes (both monographs and edited collections) cover a wide range of topics from musical multilingualism to current debates in performance theory. Languages of Publication are English and German. Die Reihe "Interdisziplinäre Studien zur Musik / Interdisciplinary Studies of Music" umfasst Arbeiten in deutscher und englischer Sprache, deren über Fächergrenzen hinausweisende Perspektiven den interdisziplinären und internationalen Charakter der Musikwissenschaft betonen. Die Herausgeber, Prof. Dr. Tomi Mäkelä von der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg, und PD Dr. Tobias Robert Klein, Musikwissenschaftler und Afrikanist an der Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, interessieren sich dabei gleichermaßen für historisch, transkultulturell und/oder systematisch orientierte Studien. Interdisziplinäre Europa Studien

In der Reihe Interdisziplinäre Europastudien erscheinen Monografien im Spannungsfeld zwischen Recht und Politik. Hier finden sich Abhandlungen zur völkerrechtlichen Haftung im Kulturgüterschutzrecht (u.a. Raub- und Beutekunst) ebenso wie zur verstärkten europäischen Zusammenarbeit im Vertrag von Nizza. Vergleichende Studien sind ein Schwerpunkt der Reihe, so zum Beispiel zu Potenzialen der direkten Demokratie in verschiedenen europäischen Ländern.

Ars Musica. Interdisziplinäre Studien

Innerhalb der Schriftenreihe ARS MUSICA. Interdisziplinäre Studien wird die Musik sowohl in ihrer inneren Struktur und in ihrem Sein als auch in ihrem kulturellen und sozialen Kontext analysiert, wie z. B. in ihrer Beziehung zu den anderen Kunstgebieten, zu den Wissenschaften, zur Philosophie, zur Theologie, zur Politik, zum Recht und insbesondere zur Religion, von der sich die Musik seit Beginn ihrer Existenz hat inspirieren lassen. Es geht also um eine Erforschung des Seins der Musik sowohl im Hinblick auf ihre theoretischen als auch auf ihre praktischen Dimensionen, die sich aus den mannigfaltigen Daseinsweisen der menschlichen Person als des eigentlichen Subjekts jedes musikalischen Opus‘ ergeben. Neben systematischen werden auch historische Analysen vorgenommen. Die Schriftenreihe dient dem interkulturellen und internationalen Ideenaustausch und trägt damit der Musik als einer universellen und zugleich personalen Realität Rechnung. Wie in der bisherigen Musikgeschichte bleibt die Schriftenreihe damit offen für die Ausrichtung der zur Anwendung kommenden unterschiedlichen wissenschaftlichen Arbeitsmethoden auf die ewige Transzendenz.

Descolonizar los Estudios cubanos interdisciplinarios/Decolonizing Interdisciplinary Cuban Studies

This series publishes scholarly and creative contributions to the global field of Cuban Studies. Written in English or Spanish (or a combination), the titles in this series include monographs, edited volumes, translations of academic studies and works that combine academic and creative work around a theme or concept. The series centres on the concept of decolonization, and represents a turn towards perspectives that steer clear of cultural hegemonies and that are built on a multiplicity of voices, ideas and projects that are all integrated on equal terms and on the basis of inherent rigour. In this sense, the series aims to decolonize Cuban Studies by allowing for productive dialogue between scholars in the arts, social sciences and humanities in Cuba, and between Cuban scholars and Cubanists elsewhere. It privileges approaches and concepts that recognise ecologies of knowledge – the multiple and complex interactions between knowledge and power in Europe, the US and Latin America and the Caribbean – and it especially encourages perspectives from the Global South. It embraces interdisciplinarity and co-production and creates a unique space for local and peripheral visions of Cuba to be seen. The mission of the series is to provide a place for dialogue and new collaborations in the broad field of Cuban Studies through linking the local, the national and the transnational in productive conversations designed to decolonize our understanding of Cuba. Esta colección publica contribuciones académicas y creativas al campo global de los Estudios cubanos. The series aims at presenting innovative cross-disciplinary and intercultural research in performance practice and theory. Its mission is to expand and enrich performance studies with new research in theatre, film, dance, ritual and art. This newly launched series creates the opportunity for those scholars who, on the one hand, wish to see literary works in the unceasing dialogue with other arts and, on the other, want to rethink literary theory in terms of its embededness in the reflection which involves notions crucial for the shape of contemporary human community such as democracy, justice, friendship, hospitality, home, passions, and many others. Thus we invite essays on a wide range of topics which include studies of individual texts placing them in a rich web of comparative references not turning away from the body-politic, interpretations of texts and images as important ways towards the formation of cultural identity, explorations of the dialogue between the word and the image with the complicated transpositions taking place in the process, as well as in-depth investigations of particular notions in their historical and multicultural contexts. The analyses undertaken by the authors in this series will make a serious contribution to a better understanding of the notions and processes constituting our being together. Neuere Lyrik. Interkulturelle und interdisziplinäre Studien

The series has been conceived as an international platform to publish monographs and other volumes consistent with topics and forms in contemporary poetry (since approximately 1985). Its emphasis on intercultural approaches enables the edition to include poetry from every language in the world. After consultation with the editors, individual volumes could also be published in languages other than German, English or Russian. Furthermore, the edition is open to include interdisciplinary studies on poetry and its relevant contexts. Kulturwissenschaft(en) als interdisziplinäres Projekt

Kulturwissenschaft(en) als interdisziplinäres Projekt ist der Titel einer Tagungs- und Publikationsreihe, in der verschiedene Fächer mit kulturwissenschaftlichen Perspektiven in einen interdisziplinären Austausch treten durch die gemeinsame Betrachtung spezifischer Gegenstände, deren Untersuchung die disziplinären Grenzen überschreitet. Dabei stoßen unterschiedliche Verständnisse von «Kulturwissenschaft(en)»“ aufeinander. Diese umspannen ein breites Spektrum an Positionen zwischen der Vorstellung eines übergreifenden Metafaches Kulturwissenschaft, Diskurshoheit beanspruchenden kulturwissenschaftlichen Einzeldisziplinen und überfachlichen Diskussionen gleichberechtigter Fächer. Immer aber geht es dabei um produktiven inter- oder transdisziplinären Austausch und darum, nicht mehr einzelfachlich zu bearbeitende Problemstellungen kooperativ zu beleuchten.

Interdisziplinärer Dialog - Ethik im Gesundheitswesen

In der modernen Medizin und Pflege nimmt der Wissenszuwachs über den Menschen rasant zu und ständig eröffnen sich neue Handlungsmöglichkeiten. Moralische Fragen werden dabei auf der individuellen und sozialen Ebene aufgeworfen: Welche der zur Verfügung stehenden Handlungsmöglichkeiten ist die einem Menschen angemessene? Wie weit soll der medizin-technische Fortschritt gehen, und wie lässt er sich von der Gesellschaft finanzieren und fair verteilen? Antworten auf diese den Menschen und die Gesellschaft in ihrem moralischen Kern betreffenden Fragen zu suchen, ist eine grosse ethische Herausforderung für die Menschen in der Postmoderne im Kontext einer pluralistischen Gesellschaft. Vor diesem Hintergrund ist der interdisziplinäre Dialog aller Betroffenen heute besonders dringlich. Er ist Voraussetzung für verantwortliches Handeln in Medizin und Pflege. Die vorliegende Buchreihe Interdisziplinärer Dialog Ethik im Gesundheitswesen soll zu diesem Dialog einen aktiven Beitrag leisten. Publiziert werden Kongressberichte, Tagungsbände, Dissertationen, Festschriften etc., welche sich interdisziplinär mit moralischen Problemen und Fragestellungen des Gesundheitswesens auseinandersetzen. Ausserdem bietet die Reihe Platz für konkrete Handlungsvorschläge zu einzelnen Krankheitsbildern und verschiedenen Problemfeldern des Gesundheitswesens. Theorie und Praxis sollen gleichgewichtig zu Wort kommen. Es werden Manuskripte in deutscher, französischer und englischer Sprache aufgenommen. In dieser Reihe kommen einerseits die erstmals an der Universität vertretenen komplementärmedizinischen Richtungen zur Sprache, andererseits soll durch eine interdisziplinäre Behandlung fundamentaler Fragen eine weitergehende Diskussion über Themen angeregt werden, welche für die gesamte Medizin und die mit ihr verbundenen Wissenschaften von Bedeutung ist. Damit möchte diese Reihe einen Beitrag zur Entwicklung einer neuen medizinischen Gesamtkultur leisten, die von vielen für das angebrochene einundzwanzigste Jahrhundert erwartet wird und die in gleichwertiger Weise materielle und geistige Aspekte des Menschseins umfasst. Die Reihe wird herausgegeben von der Kollegialen Instanz für Komplementärmedizin KIKOM, die 1995 an der Universität Bern durch die Veranlassung einer Volksinitiative als Lehrstuhl-Äquivalent mit je einer Dozentur für Anthroposophische Medizin, Traditionelle Chinesische Medizin/Akupunktur, Homöopathie und Neuraltherapie eingerichtet worden ist.

Australian Studies: Interdisciplinary Perspectives

This interdisciplinary book series showcases dynamic, innovative research on contemporary and historical Australian culture. It aims to foster interventions in established debates on Australia as well as opening up new areas of enquiry that reflect the diversity of interests in the scholarly community. The series includes research in a range of fields across the humanities and social sciences, such as history, literature, media, philosophy, cultural studies, gender studies and politics. Proposals are encouraged in areas such as Indigenous studies, critical race and whiteness studies, women'Â’s studies, studies in colonialism and coloniality, multiculturalism, the experimental humanities and ecocriticism. Of particular interest is research that promotes the study of Australia in cross-cultural, transnational and comparative contexts. Cross-disciplinarity and new methodologies are welcomed. The series will feature the work of leading authors but also invites proposals from emerging scholars. Proposals for monographs, biographies and high-quality edited volumes are welcomed. Proposals and manuscripts considered for the series will be subject to rigorous peer review and editorial attention. Lisbon Philosophical Studies – Uses of Language in Interdisciplinary Fields is the book series of the Institute of Philosophy of Language at the New University of Lisbon. Its aim is the publication of high-quality monographs, edited collections and conference proceedings in areas related to the philosophy of language, such as aesthetics, argumentation theory, epistemology, ethics, logic, philosophy of mind and political philosophy. The purpose of the series is to reflect the activities of the Institute as well as contemporary research in these areas, encouraging the interchange of arguments and ideas between philosophy and other disciplines.

Die Reihe Romanistische Arbeiten interkulturell und interdisziplinär widmet sich dem Bereich der Romanistik in deutscher, spanischer, portugiesischer und französischer Sprache.
